Installation Instructions

1) Begin with clearing the immediate area around the window or sliding door. This will prevent tripping as well as keep your blinds from being caught and possibly torn.

2) Place a stool or ladder in front of the window or sliding door on the interior side. While these blinds may be hung outside, exposing them to the exterior may cause damage by weather elements.

3) Hold a mounting strip or brackets against the wall, centering them as much as possible.

4) Use a level to determine the levelness of the brackets or mounting strip.

5) Mark the location of the pre-drilled holes in the mounting strip or brackets using a pencil. Make the marks visible to properly hang the brackets or mounting strip.

6) Pick up the blinds and hold them over the window or sliding door to ensure the window treatment is the proper width and length.

7) Fasten the mounting strip or the brackets to the wall using a screw gun and screws.

8) Attach the Roman shades to the mounting strip or brackets following the manufacturer's proprietary instructions. Do not deviate from the hanging instructions or your blinds may not operate correctly.

9) Pull the blinds up and let fall several times to ensure proper operation.

If your blinds can with a liner, attach it to the back of the blinds prior to hanging them. In most cases, a liner cannot be attached to blinds after the blinds have already been hung. In addition, fasten the cord bracket to the wall once the blinds are installed.

Once you have hung the first set of Roman blinds, you can install others following the same steps. Remember to take down your blinds and wash periodically to keep them looking new.
